Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable, self-motivated Cook to prepare high-quality food in a fast-paced burger restaurant. The ideal candidate has experience working on the grill, follows food safety standards, and ensures every order is prepared accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
* Prepare burgers, sandwiches, fries, and other menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
* Operate and maintain the grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
* Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation to ensure consistency.
* Maintain a clean and organized workstation, following all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
* Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to support kitchen operations.
* Communicate effectively with team members to ensure timely order preparation.
* Assist with receiving, storing, and rotating inventory using FIFO practices.
* Perform opening, closing, and additional kitchen duties as assigned by management.
* Be punctual, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience operating a grill and preparing burgers or similar fast-food items.
* Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures.
* Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining food quality.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills:
* Previous experience as a grill cook or line cooks in a burger restaurant or fast-paced kitchen.
* Strong attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
