Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable, self-motivated Cook to prepare high-quality food in our fast-paced burger restaurant. The ideal candidate brings proven grill experience, strictly follows food safety standards, and ensures every order is prepared accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Your primary duties will include, but are not limited to:
• Food Preparation: Cook burgers, sandwiches, fries, and menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
• Equipment Operations: Safely operate and maintain the grill, fryer, and other kitchen equipment.
• Quality Control: Monitor food quality, portion sizes, and presentation for consistency.
• Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized workstation following food safety guidelines.
• Inventory Management: Restock kitchen lines and use FIFO practices to receive, store, and rotate inventory.
• Team Communication: Collaborate with team members to ensure quick, accurate order preparation.
• Shift Duties: Perform opening, closing, and other tasks assigned by management.
• Performance Standards: Maintain punctuality, strong organization, and the ability to multitask under pressure.
Required Qualifications:
• Experience: Proven experience operating a grill and preparing burgers or fast-food items.
• Food Safety: Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper handling procedures.
• Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Efficiency: Ability to work quickly under pressure while maintaining food quality.
• Soft Skills: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
• Previous experience as a grill or line-cook in a burger restaurant or fast-casual kitchen.
• High attention to detail, strong time management, and the ability to work independently.
